About

"The Appleseed Series: Exploring Local Sustainability" is a series of events held in Durango, Colorado, by a group of partner organizations to raise awareness about issues related to local sustainability. Current partners are the Durango Youth Coalition, FLC Environmental Center, Oil & Gas Accountability Project, San Juan Citizens Alliance, and Turtle Lake Refuge.

Events are held on the first Wednesday of every month from 7 to 8:30 pm unless otherwise noted. Past topics have included solar power, local food, "leave no trace," and waste reduction.
